HE PRIESTLY
SOCIETY OF CHRIST THE KING is committed to the total restoration of the traditional way
of Catholic life: the formation of men for service at the Altar, Family Life
and Religious Life are all essential components
of that return to all things Catholic.
The
Society of Christ the King is looking for young men of the highest moral
character who are interested in becoming Priests who will offer exclusively the Traditional (pre-Vatican
II) Latin Mass and Sacraments. Sacerdotal Formation will begin with a Spiritual
Year and last anywhere from four to eight years depending on the candidate.
Young men interested in being Priests forever, and Knights in the service of
Our Divine King must be of the
highest moral character and committed to a life of
celibacy and obedience. In addition they must be at least eighteen years of age
and of reasonable intelligence: the courses of study demand an ability to learn
and comprehend Latin, Philosophy, Logic, Theology, Liturgy, Humanities, etc.
All candidates must be able to pass a background check which will be conducted
by law enforcement.
For men interested in the Religious Life, there is
the LITTLE BROTHERS OF CHRIST THE KING
(Socius Fratrinorum
Christi Regis), being established to assist the Priests of the Society in
their parochial duties.
Men
who have graduated from High School and are interested in a life of sacrifice,
sanctification and fidelity to the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church
should contact the Society for further information.
Those
candidates accepted will come to
The
Brothers will eventually assist the Church by teaching catechism, assisting
with certain parochial administration, and working with the poor and others in
need. As time progresses, the Brothers will be called into even more service
for the Catholic Church.
Candidates
should be at least 18 years old, in good health and have at least an average intelligence.
Candidates should also be free to live a Religious Life, i.e.: not married, free from financial debt and have the highest
moral standards. All candidates must be able to pass a background check which
will be conducted by law enforcement.
Finally, for women who are interested in the
traditional Catholic Religious Life there is THE DAUGHTERS OF CHRIST THE KING (Filić Christi Regis): women dedicated to a life of extraordinary
holiness and sacrifice. These Sisters are active and contemplative. Candidates
would likewise meet the above mentioned criteria and need to pass background
checks and be free to serve Christ alone.
